Obituary

Although not yet born, Olivia Elena Armas was a beloved member of our family and a joy to her parents, Antonio and Rachel Armas. She was fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of her parents and Heavenly Father. We could not have loved her more. Born early Easter morning on Sunday, April 4, 2021 she was delivered to heaven where she can be held and cuddled and loved by God. Even though we had to say goodbye, before we could say hello, her life already brought so much joy, hope, and meaning in the nine months she was with us. We know that her soul was returned to her Maker before she could know sin, sorrow, or pain. We cling to the words of the psalmist – “Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from Him.” Olivia will be deeply missed by her loving parents Antonio and Rachel (Herman) Armas; grandparents Gregory and Karla Herman and Antonio and Morayma Armas; great-grandparents Margaret Herman, Elena Sierraalta and Sonia Armas; aunts & uncles Theresa (Ryan) Behymer, Suzanne (Pat) Fansler, Carolyn (Ben) Lusk, Maria Herman, Joe Herman, Benjamin Herman, Wilfredo (Jhoselyn) Sierraalta; cousin Ezra Lusk; Godmother Lydia Prenger; and many other extended family members. Preceding Olivia in death was her great-grandparents Robert and Doris Prenger, Joseph Herman, Adolfo Armas and Osmundo Sierraalta. Family will receive friends from 3:00-6:00pm on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at Veritas Community Church, 345 E. 2nd Ave, Columbus, Ohio 43201. Funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, April 12, 2021 at Veritas Community Church with burial at Green Lawn cemetery.
